Invitations are being invited from experienced Social Workers to assist with professional leadership within the discipline of Social Work at Bendigo Health. The position is based on the Acute Care Campus.
Applicants must have at least 7 years experience in Social Work, specialist knowledge in health social work and/or acute health as well as demonstrated progression towards AASW accreditation. Appropriate post graduate qualifications in health or social work an advantage.
The successful applicant will assist with social work specific professional development, quality improvement, clinical standards and staff supervision as well as deputise as needed for the Chief Social Worker. Clinical work is also a large component of this position. On line applications only.

Classification: SC31 (Gr 3 Yr 1) up to SC34 (Gr 3 Yr 4)
Salary: $1399.90 pw (Yr1) up to $1570.10 pw (Yr4)
Hours: 5 days per week (80 hours per forntight)
Status: Fixed term till 01/02/2011
Police check and Working with childrens permit: required from successful applicant at their expense
Probationary period: 3 months
